ARTIST COMMENTARY: "This oil returns to a close-up of a female figure with a piercing and to some extent challenging gaze, as if it expected something or wanted to show dissatisfiedness. The energetic and geometric lines of the nose and right cheekbone contrast with the soft shapes of the chin and the irregularity of the left, but at the same time give strength and character to the composition. Simple, asymmetrical eyes denote the influence of graffiti and are characteristic of this period of the artist, but the realistic use of the rest of the colors (brown, yellow and blue background) generate a coherent and plausible atmosphere in this painting.
